Hey. My name's Andrew McLean. You may not know me from Adam.

But, over the past 5 years, I’ve overcome massive insecurity, shyness, and fear of social rejection.

I want to be clear. Fear still shows up for me sometimes.  But it’s no longer an anvil around my neck.

It’s more like a nuisance, or a slight annoyance that I have to occasionally brush off my shoulder.

The point is, my fear of rejection no longer restricts me. It no longer stops me from talking to the people I want to meet, or from being myself around new people.

How did it all change for me?

One day I decided that leaving my social life to chance was never going to work.

After four years of a lonely existence at university, isolated, and starved of social connection, I told myself enough was enough.

I couldn't wait around forever hoping that someone would maybe start a conversation with me, and maybe we would get on well.

I had to take responsibility for my social life, despite my fear of rejection.

So I did the only thing a shy, introverted university student knows how to do, and I started reading all the relevant books I could find.

Then, I put what I learned in theory, into consistent action.

It wasn't easy at first.

I messed up a lot talking to new people. I made all sorts of embarrassing mistakes, and I got "rejected" too many times I care to remember.

But I stuck with it.

Because I was committed to making the close friends, close relationships, and social life I knew could be happy with.

So I spoke to new people every day.

I eventually became quite busy meeting new people and catching up with new acquaintances over a beer or coffee.

So to sharpen my skills, and to find out what mistakes I didn't know I was making, I invested in the best mentoring and coaching to help me out along the way.

To cut a long story short, I got there in the end.

I now have that amazing, fulfilling social life of close friends that I always wanted, and I’m even in a loving long-term relationship.

But why should you care?

Because all this makes me qualified to tell you you are not alone. And you can do this too.

No matter how insecure, no matter how shy, no matter how afraid you feel, claiming the social life of your dreams is always possible.

It's simply a matter of changing your mindsets, and changing your belief systems.

After that you can do the fun part, which is when you work on your social and emotional skills!

By the way, all of this is covered in my new book Supercharge Your Social Life.

You can learn more about it here.

It goes in-depth on 39 of the best conversation techniques, mindsets, and friend-making concepts that you need to achieve ultimate success in your social life.

So you've read my story, you're still reading right this very second, and you've already started to imagine how much it would mean to you to finally claim those close friends and social connections you deserve.

That's why I think you're really going to love my new book.

Go ahead and check it out. You'll be glad you did.
